The distinctive Perot Museum of Nature and Science served as the
backdrop for a monumental announcement in September from Methodist
Health System to its medical staff: Methodist became the first Texas
member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
The collaboration allows the expertise of Mayo Clinic specialists to
complement and support the care provided by physicians on our medical staff.
Now patients who might seek care from a leading research organization, like
Mayo Clinic, can access that same expertise right here close to home.
Methodist strives to be a trusted provider of quality health care in North
Texas. Similarly, Mayo Clinic’s approach to health care is rooted in the
idea that the best patient care is achieved when experts from a variety
of medical specialties can work together, focused on the patient. The
organizations’ shared vision keeps the patient at the center of everything
we do — and the result is clinical excellence.
