sponsored the 2012 Cigna Mayor’s Race 5K on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012,
and theDallasHalfMarathon onSunday, Dec. 9, 2012. Hospital employees
joined the more than 4,000 runners of all ages for this year’s 5K event.

screenings, and free

WAY TO GO Methodist Dallas Medical Center was named among
Top Performers on Key Quality Measures™ by The Joint Commission,
a national health care review agency. One of only 620 hospitals
nationwide to achieve this recognition, the hospital was recognized
for its 2011 outcomes regarding heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia,
and stroke treatment.
