Men get their
health
up to par
On
Nov. 12, 2013, Methodist Richardson
Medical Center hosted moMENtum, a free men’s
health event, at TopGolf Allen. Attendees teed it up
with Methodist Richardson physicians while they
discussed common health issues, such as prostate
health, orthopedic and joint health, back and neck
pain, and gastrointestinal and gallbladder health, as
well as heart attack and stroke prevention.
Another successful
Yellow and Black Tie Gala
The
Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation’s seventh annual Yellow
and Black Tie Gala raised $300,000 to benefit the Methodist Richardson Cancer
Center. The Nov. 16, 2013, soiree at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel
featured silent and live auctions, a seated dinner, and live entertainment.
More than 460 area civic and business leaders from Collin and Dallas
counties attended the event. The Foundation presented longtime Richardson
resident Patti Henry with this year’s Legacy Award, which recognizes
individuals or corporations who have made a difference in the Richardson
community through ongoing commitment, gifts, and leadership.
