Colorectal Cancer Home Screening

) to request a colorectal cancer home screening
test. The test, called a fecal occult blood test, is simple to complete and is evaluated by an
independently practicing gastroenterologist on the medical staff at Methodist Richardson
and the staff at Digestive Health Associates of Texas. Results will be mailed to you following
the evaluation.
Food for Life
Four-class nutrition and cooking class series
Mondays, Jan. 23, 30, Feb. 6, 13, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Methodist Richardson Cancer Center, 2805 E. President George Bush Turnpike, in Richardson
$30 fee covers all four classes and includes healthy, delicious food samples.
Most Americans are not aware that good dietary choices can help prevent cancer. The
“Food for Life” nutrition and cooking classes are designed to educate people about the
value of a healthy diet in preventing and even surviving cancer.
In this interactive series, you will sample new recipes and learn how to put good dietary
practices into action. The class topics are:
