INMEMORY OF RICHARDWHITE:
Monday, Aug. 1, friends and family gathered
at the Toll Brothers community Bridgewater

AWORKOF ART:
A trio of Richardson High School (RHS) science and arts magnet students
completed a mural project on a wall outside the Methodist Richardson emergency department
this summer. The group worked diligently for five weeks painting the design created by Cari Candas,
a 2011 RHS graduate. The design begins with the Dallas skyline, incorporates emergency medical
services (EMS) vehicles as they arrive at Methodist Richardson for patient treatment, and includes
emblems from each EMS or fire department that serves the hospital. At work on their mural are
(from left) Emily Cromwell, senior arts magnet student; Edwin Chavez, senior arts magnet student;
Tarah Grooms, emergency room director; and Candas, mural designer and health science graduate.
