An expansion completed

the facility’s capacity.

A $9.7 million budget
is established, and
ground is broken on a
new 100,000-square-
foot facility with
116 beds.
1972
The RHA acquires 60 acres of
land at Campbell Road and
the Santa Fe Railroad. It also
accepts a gift of 11.3 acres of
additional land from the Alex
McCutcheon Estate.
1967
After a renovation
and expansion,
Richardson
General Hospital
is licensed for
124 beds.
1966
The city sees a great
opportunity and purchases
Richardson General Hospital.
The new hospital has 17 staff
physicians who care for
28 patients.
